About Pilates with Joyce

Meet Joyce

For Joyce, staying active and continuing to move is one of the simplest ways to bring the body, mind, breath, and presence into alignment.

She first discovered Reformer Pilates in 2019 and was immediately drawn to its unique balance of stretch, strength, and control. Compared with other forms of exercise she had tried before, Pilates felt refreshingly dynamic and fun, with a natural rhythm that keeps the body challenged while the mind stays present.

What began as curiosity soon became a practice she returned to again and again — not just for the physical benefits, but for the sense of clarity, energy, and balance it brings.

Alongside Pilates, Joyce has spent the past ten years building a career in recruitment, a profession centred around people, relationships, and meaningful connections. Today, Pilates and recruitment coexist in her life, with Pilates with Joyce beginning as a passion project — one that allows her to share her love of mindful movement while continuing her work in recruitment.

Joyce is a big believer that health is the greatest form of wealth. With a healthy body and a clear mind, we give ourselves the opportunity to make the most of every day — including today.

Her curiosity about wellbeing, personal growth, and manifestation continues to shape the way she approaches both life and movement.

In 2025, Joyce pursued her certifications in Reformer and Mat Pilates, turning a long-standing passion into something she could share with others.

Through Pilates with Joyce, her classes focus on creating a space where people can move with intention while still enjoying the process. Her teaching style blends:

• Stretch and strength in equal balance
• Breath-led, controlled movement
• Dynamic flows that energise the body and focus the mind
• A welcoming atmosphere where everyone can move at their own pace

Joyce believes Pilates should feel grounding, energising, and a little bit fun — a practice that leaves you feeling stronger, lighter, and more connected to yourself.

When she’s not teaching, you’ll likely find Joyce on the Reformer herself, walking Freja her fur baby, enjoying a skinny cappuccino or a glass of wine in the sun — while thinking about her next flow.

With Love,

Joyce
